ARLINGTON, Texas, Jan. 16, 2008 – The new market-style grocery store offers fresh produce, favorite brands and familiar values to our local neighborhood. Located at 5401 Park Springs Blvd. and the intersection of Green Oaks Blvd is the much needed Grocery store. As part of Wal-Mart’s commitment to the community, the store is also announcing $34,000 in grants to local organizations, schools, the new public library, and public safety agencies.Pictured above is a very similar looking Neighborhood Marketplace and what the insides look like. It's really nice to have a store in such a close location and keeps us from driving farther and dealing with crazy traffic. The previous store was not the best of stores and we were very happy to hear that Wal-Mart had purchased the property and have waited for long time. The wait is finally over and its nice to know we can do our grocery shopping here in the neighborhood, even if its just for a quick item we are needing. Thank you Wal-Mart.
